REGULAR SESSION
In addition to holding an assembly each year, the Speaker calls a regular session very six months. Every session has 40 days, including the holidays and pause span. During the investigation of the Yearly Total Budget, if proposals are unresolved when the session ends or if there is a need, under the request of the Mayor, or the Speaker, or more than one third of councilors cosponsor, the Assembly can resolve to prolong the session. The prolonged session is restricted to 5 days at most, and shall not be used for interpellation.
PROVISIONAL SESSION
Under the request of the Mayor, or the Speaker, or one third of the councilors, or according to Article 39 of the Provincial and County Autonomy Law's regulation, the Speaker is obliged to call an provisional session within 10 days. The terms of provisional session, including the holidays and pause span shall not exceed 5 days each time, ~ times at most during a twelve-month period. |
